 The second round of the Winter Cup thundered through Cahuilla Creek MX following a quick SoCal winter rain the previous day. The track was in epic conditions to start out the day, but as the races clicked off the soft ground formed up deep ruts and lots of rough chop through the racing surface.

 Went out to Cahuilla Creek MX to get some laps in before next week’s TWMX/Muscle Milk race. The track was a lot of fun and is a fast layout.

 The new Transworld Motocross/Muscle Milk racing kicked off their first series at Perris Raceway with the opening round of the 2012 Winter Cup. Strong breezes greeted the racers throughout the day but had no effect on the racing action.

 The first race of the 2012 SX is now history and the series moves on to Phoenix next week. It was a great opener with plenty of on-track drama as riders made critical errors during the main event, mixing up the finishing order at the end.

 The 2011 edition of A Day in the Dirt is now history as the dust settled on Pala Raceway. The races today included riders Ken Roczen, Grant Langston, Jimmy Albertson, Ryan Hughes and a number of other national caliber riders.

 The first day of the 2011 edition of A Day in the Dirt has concluded with many of the regulars in the field as well as Doug Henry riding his special-built Yamaha. Austin Stroupe made a dominating appearance in the Pro/Am race finishing ahead of Josh Grant on his new Jeff Ward Racing Kawasaki and Jeremy McGrath.

 Cahuilla Creek hosted Round 6 of the X Racing Xtreme Prize series. The cloudy cool weather kept the track in great shape the entire day with very little water needed. The track has had a few jumps added in and a couple minor changes and is probably one of the best layouts they have ever had there.

 Went back out to Savannah and had some extra time so I went out to Tybee Island, Fort Pulaski, River Street and just wandered around. Lots of history around the Savannah area as well as a mix of very different characters

 The 2011 Transworld SLAM Fest at Milestone MX is now in the books with Justin Bogle taking the top honors in the head to head bracket race. Bogle edged out Jake Canada in the final race of the day, taking home a $5000 paycheck and the coveted Transworld SLAM belt

 The final round of the outdoor nationals were at Pala Raceway and it was an excellent day of racing. Two championships were still on the line even though Dean Wilson had clinched the 250 class.
