Chaney Ranch
A group of friends and I headed out to the Old Chaney Ranch to get in some riding at the secluded semi-private track. With all the rain this winter the surrounding area was very green, which is a once a year thing around here. There was a fog bank covering Lake Henshaw on the way out, but the weather at the ranch was excellent. The track is a mix of long outdoor sections with plenty of technical jump sections added in. The owner’s hospitality is excellent and the track was in great shape at the beginning of the day. Big thanks to everyone at Chaney Ranch for letting us come out and spend the day riding.
thank you for the amazing pics – just looked at them for the first time – what is funny is me and my track workers keep scratching our heads and ask where is all the dirt we put on the track – where did it go, how come we are back to base – where is the DG – well the pics show it getting roosted everywhere – now we know – its in the bushes – prepping the track and caring for it is sooo much work – but it pays off – the pics show what mc calls “chocolate cake”
