The final round of the Vet X Winter Series beat the rain with excellent track condition.   The two-round finale was split by a rainstorm Saturday evening, but both rounds were run with no weather problems.   The Sunday round started off with some mud in the morning practice, but the track came around to perfect consistency for traction for the rest of the day.   While the turnout was down from the usual Perris rounds of Vet X, there was still lots of racing in every class.    See the below gallery for highlights from the day.   CLICK HERE for the entire gallery of photos from the day.

The first day of the Vet X Winter series 2-day finale was at Perris Raceway.  The rain held off and the track conditions were excellent with the cloud cover helping keep the track from drying out.  It was a clean day of racing with very few crashes.  For photos from the even, click here for Perris Round 5.

The cool damp weather brought out the warm clothes for most people, and the girls in the pits were no different.  Here are some photos from around the pits while everyone was waiting for the track to be uncovered and the action to start.

This years San Diego SX was a wild race after rain early in the day followed by off and on rain during the night’s races.  This year’s series has proven to be very interesting, with 4 different winners in 5 races.  Check out pictures of the action below as well as some of the ’sights’ from the pits.   Also, don’t forget to check out the coverage on Transworld MX.

The third round of the Vet X Winter Series marked the return to Cahuilla Creek after almost 2 years.   The track made a return to the schedule offering one of the faster layouts the club races on with many long open sections.  A perfect Southern California day was a welcome addition to the race.  As the day progressed, the track did develop the normal chop and rough conditions Cahuilla Creek is famous for.  The day turned out to be a great day of racing with very few minor incidents.   The full gallery of photos for the day can be found on our photo pages by CLICKING HERE.  Some highlights from the day can be seen below.

LA Country Raceway hosted the second round of the 2010 Vet X Winter Series with the typical fun track layout using both sides of the pit.  There were plenty of sandy hills on both sides of the quarry with the usual obstacles thrown in for added fun.  The track was in excellent condition.  Storms were beginning to loom over the mountains as the afternoon set in and temperatures dropped as the breeze came off the storm clouds.   It ended up being a good day of racing though.   The full gallery of photos can be found by CLICKING HERE.  See below for a few highlights of the day.

The new year of Vet X racing rolled off the line at Competitive Edge MX in Hesperia, CA.   Couldn’t have asked for a more perfect day for racing.  The track was in excellent shape to start off the day, ripped deep and watered.  It stayed in good condition through the day as well.   The rider count was down slightly for the opener, most likely due to people finishing off their holiday travels, but a great time was had by all at the races with a clean day of racing.  To see the the full gallery of photos from the first motos, CLICK HERE.   Races 8 and 9 are missing since I was riding in race 9, but the first moto of the rest of the races are there.   See some highlights from the day below.
