Anaheim 2 is in the history books once again with Eli Tomac winning the 250 class and stretching out his point lead and Ryan Villopoto taking his second win, the only repeat winner so far in the series, and claims the red number plate as he takes over the lead in the points chase.  Here is a collection of photos from the daytime practice as well as the night’s races.

]]> http://www.motovationsports.com/2011/02/10/anaheim-2-supercross/feed/ 0 2010 Anaheim 1 SX http://www.motovationsports.com/2010/01/10/2010-anaheim-1-sx/ http://www.motovationsports.com/2010/01/10/2010-anaheim-1-sx/#comments Sun, 10 Jan 2010 20:58:48 +0000 Steve http://www.motovationsports.com/?p=435 The new year of supercross kicked off in Anaheim with a huge surprise in the Supercross class. ]]> The new year of supercross kicked off in Anaheim with a huge surprise in the Supercross class.   While there are plenty of very talented riders, two riders expected to be on top ended up missing in the main even as Josh Grant DNS after struggling through the evening with injuries and Chad Reed pulling out after damaging his front wheel on the start.  Ryan Dungey made a huge statement in his opening race in the premier class, leading 17 laps before James Stewart caught him and passed for the lead.  On the final lap, Dungey made a last ditch attempt at the win, battling with Stewart but making a mistake late in the lap exiting a corner and ending up second at the finish.
