The second round of the Winter Cup thundered through Cahuilla Creek MX following a quick SoCal winter rain the previous day.  The track was in epic conditions to start out the day, but as the races clicked off the soft ground formed up deep ruts and lots of rough chop through the racing surface.  The second round of the series grew larger with 495 entries for the day and full gates in several classes.  The races ran smooth with tight racing in every class throughout the day.   For full race coverage, click on over to Transworld MX Racing to find results and HUGE photo gallery of all the racersclicked by Casey Davis.

X Racing (Vet X) kicked off their summer series at Cahuilla Creek MX on the holiday weekend.   There were over 280 entries on the holiday weekend with many families camping out for the weekend.  The weather for the weekend was not the normal scorching temperatures though with a mixed variety of clouds, sun, haze, sprinkes of rain and a little wind on and off to make things interesting.  There was a ton of great racing in most every class as well.  The series looks to be off to a great start.   Check out some highlights in the gallery below, and for the full gallery of all photos, you can click here for the complete gallery from the day.

X Racing ended their winter series with a 2 day event at Cahuilla Creek MX.   The track delivered a great layout that the racers enjoyed.   I went out for the second day of racing and there was a great turnout for the races.  The track eventually started to get rough, but nothing that is unexpected with that many riders on the track.   Lots of great racing all day long and everyone seemed to have a great time.   See the gallery below for some highlights from the day, and CLICK HERE FOR ENTIRE GALLERY OF PHOTOS.

The Ride for the Cure supporting breast cancer survivors in the area as well as Michelle’s Place was held at Cahuilla Creek MX this year.   There is no better reason to go riding to help raise money to help the people that need the support.  The organizers of the event do an excellent job with the event, and this year had a huge turnout at Cahuilla Creek.    There was a huge amount of merchandise and collectible items donated for the raffles, lunch by Wahoo’s Fish Tacos and an open track for riding.   The weather turned out to be excellent with rain showers the previous day as well as one in the morning creating excellent track conditions.   A great day to ride for a great cause, afterall, we all know everyone loves boobies!!   Great job to the organizers, headed up by Laurie Cary.   For more information on the event, you can visit http://www.mxrideforthecure.com/.   See below for a photo overload of the FMX demonstration as well as some photos from the event.
