The 2011 Transworld SLAM Fest at Milestone MX is now in the books with Justin Bogle taking the top honors in the head to head bracket race.  Bogle edged out Jake Canada  in the final race of the day, taking home a $5000 paycheck and the coveted Transworld SLAM belt as well as a cover on an upcoming TWMX issue.  The were a couple upsets during the day with Jake Canada taking advantage of a mistake by Jimmy Albertson and Nico Izzi having bike problems less than a half lap into his first race.   For full race coverage, check TransworldMX.com for all the details.  See the photos below from the races.

Went to meet up with some friends out at Milestone MX this morning and was met with a long line all the way up the hill to the street.  It was very busy on all tracks today, even the main track was packed most of the day while I was there.   With that much traffic, the track got real rough and choppy, but still fun.   The main track layout is a lot of fun and the new section they added in the back is a lot of fun.  The big step-up jump and sand section adds a little more variety to the track.   Got a few pics today, mostly of friends with a few other people mixed in.  Swap grabbed my camera and snapped off a few of me as well later in the day, so I have a few of myself in the gallery below as well.   Enjoy!

A group of friends and I headed out to Milestone MX in Riverside today to get in some practice.  I haven’t been to the track in several months, and when I got on the track it was in excellent condition in the morning.  There was a healthy crowd there today as well, and despite the traffic the track held up great.   Check out some photos from the day below.

Transworld Motocross had their annual Dirt Days festival at Milestone MX in Riverside, CA over the weekend.  This years event included the usual Metal Mulisha FMX demos, the model search, and wrapped up with the Transworld Dirt Days Slam race.  The Slam race featured head to head bracket racing, two riders at a time for a $5000 winner takes all purse.  Dean Wilson edged out Dan Reardon in the final to take home the cash and the title.  Check the gallery below of the model search and FMX and racing below.

Headed out to Milestone MX today out in Riverside to get in a little Saturday moto.   The temperatures were up over 100 degrees while we were still riding, but we all fully expected it with the track in Riverside in the middle of July.   Good day of riding as everyone in our group had a good showing and at the end of the day packed up and went home safely.  Good to see some of my friends back in the saddle after three of them had extended time off the bike after injuries.  Check out some pictures of friends and others on the track today.   Unfortunately my camera doesn’t like the 100 degree heat and typically has problems, and today was one of those days so I didn’t get many pictures.
