The outdoor national MX season is officially here!  Hangtown kicked off the 12 round series in a big way with excellent racing all day.  Chad Reed and Ryan Dungey battled for the overall win in the 450 class, while Blake Bagget took the top honors in the 250 class with a Pro Circuit top 3 dominating the podium.   For more details on the day’s racing, got to the Transworld MX Race Report to read more.   See some photos from the race in the gallery below.

Moto Habitat is a facility that has been around for a while, but with new ownership they have built an amateur track next to the pro-level supercross track.  I met up with a few friends to check out the track.  It is not the typical SoCal track, it is more of a tighter supercross style track that is designed for the amateur riders.   The layout was a very safe set-up with mostly table-top jumps, several bowl turns and whoop section.  Overall the riders had a great time on the track.  For more information on the Moto Habitat facility, visit their website Motohabitat.com.   See the gallery below for pictures from the day, and also see the panoramic photo below of the amateur track.

One of the local motorcycle dealers in Vista had an open house this weekend with one of the highlights being freestyle demonstrations from both street bikes and dirt bikes.  I went out to catch some photos of local rider Bryce Hudson as well as the other riders.  Bryce has been working hard on his skills and it is great to see his hard work paying off.   Check out the photo gallery below for the photos. 

A group of friends and I headed out to Perris Raceway for a little Sunday afternoon moto.  The track was in excellent condition and was a lot of fun.  The crowd was light so no split practices and lots of great riding today.  Check out a few photos from the day.
