The day of the GP started off with lots of rain, the vet GP was in steady rain and muddy conditions. By the time the start of the MX2 race had come, the rain had subsided but the track was a muddy mess.

The USGP is making its second visit to Glen Helen Raceway with practice and qualifying on Saturday. The World MX GP championship is only in its 3rd round out of the 15 round schedule, the season is only beginning.

Day two of A Day in the Dirt races went off smooth with a few different riders making appearances. The track again held up great after overnight rain soaked the area.

With the impending closure of LA County Raceway, I went up to their final grand prix race. The adjacent quarry has decimated several more portions of the track and parking lot, with the upper track very small.

Thanksgiving weekend has become the traditonal weekend for the Day in the Dirt race. The 11th running of the event this year proved to be another success despite the cold weather.
