Went to meet up with some friends out at Milestone MX this morning and was met with a long line all the way up the hill to the street.  It was very busy on all tracks today, even the main track was packed most of the day while I was there.   With that much traffic, the track got real rough and choppy, but still fun.   The main track layout is a lot of fun and the new section they added in the back is a lot of fun.  The big step-up jump and sand section adds a little more variety to the track.   Got a few pics today, mostly of friends with a few other people mixed in.  Swap grabbed my camera and snapped off a few of me as well later in the day, so I have a few of myself in the gallery below as well.   Enjoy!

X Racing ended their winter series with a 2 day event at Cahuilla Creek MX.   The track delivered a great layout that the racers enjoyed.   I went out for the second day of racing and there was a great turnout for the races.  The track eventually started to get rough, but nothing that is unexpected with that many riders on the track.   Lots of great racing all day long and everyone seemed to have a great time.   See the gallery below for some highlights from the day, and CLICK HERE FOR ENTIRE GALLERY OF PHOTOS.

The second Anaheim SX of 2011 is in the books.  This year they took one round away from Anaheim and replaced it with the race at Dodger Stadium.  This was yet another great race in the 250 class with three riders battling for the win and Ken Roczen getting his first podium position.   The 450 class wasn’t quite as close as the previous rounds, but still continues to be a great season.   You can check out the Transworld Motocross Race Report to see a few of my photos as well as read their race recap.   Also, if your stale old monitor needs some refreshing, get some fresh new wallpaper size photos on the Transworld MX Weekly Wallpapers.

The 2011 supercross season kicked off at Anaheim this weekend, much to the anticipation of fans everywhere.  The Supercross class is loaded deep with talent this year with several riders capable of taking a win.   The top 5 finishers in the class at the end of the night wasn’t a big surprise, but the order of finish was.   James Stewart was heavily favored, but ended in third behind Ryan Villopoto and Ryan Dungey.   Fourth was Trey Canard followed by Chad Reed.   This years series looks to be one of the most competitive in years, I’m looking forward to seeing it unfold.   See the gallery for photos from the pits, daytime practice and the races.
