Anaheim 2 is in the history books once again with Eli Tomac winning the 250 class and stretching out his point lead and Ryan Villopoto taking his second win, the only repeat winner so far in the series, and claims the red number plate as he takes over the lead in the points chase. Anaheim 1 SX 2012

The first race of the 2012 SX is now history and the series moves on to Phoenix next week. It was a great opener with plenty of on-track drama as riders made critical errors during the main event, mixing up the finishing order at the end. Moto Habitat Amateur SX

Made a return trip to Moto Habitat this weekend to ride their amateur supercross track. The track is a tight and toned down track with bowl turns, whoops and many safe jumps. The dirt at the track hold moisture very well on the days I have been there and has held up well during the day. Several friends and I put in laps at the track as well as several other people. 2011 Anaheim 1 SX

The 2011 supercross season kicked off at Anaheim this weekend, much to the anticipation of fans everywhere. The Supercross class is loaded deep with talent this year with several riders capable of taking a win. The top 5 finishers in the class at the end of the night wasn’t a big surprise, but the order of finish was. James Stewart was heavily favored, but ended in third behind Ryan Villopoto and Ryan Dungey. Fourth was Trey Canard followed by Chad Reed. This years series looks to be one of the most competitive in years, I’m looking forward to seeing it unfold. See the gallery for photos from the pits, daytime practice and the races.

Anaheim 3 SX

Anaheim 3 had some excellent racing to conclude the California races before the series heads off the the East Coast. This race was dedicated to breast cancer awareness, with lots of pink throughout the day in gear, bikes, and other items around. 2010 San Diego SX

This years San Diego SX was a wild race after rain early in the day followed by off and on rain during the night’s races. This year’s series has proven to be very interesting, with 4 different winners in 5 races. Check out pictures of the action below as well as some of the ‘sights’ from the pits. Anaheim 2 SX

Anaheim 2 went off with excellent weather after the weeklong deluge of rain in Southern California. Dirt Wurx did an excellent job of keeping the track covered and then spending many hours overnight and in the morning prior to the event preparing the track. The night’s racing was excellent, with Ryan Dungey taking his second win of the season to maintain the points lead. Should be an exciting series this year! 2010 Anaheim 1 SX

The new year of supercross kicked off in Anaheim with a huge surprise in the Supercross class. While there are plenty of very talented riders, two riders expected to be on top ended up missing in the main even as Josh Grant DNS after struggling through the evening with injuries and Chad Reed pulling out after damaging his front wheel on the start. Ryan Dungey made a huge statement in his opening race in the premier class, leading 17 laps before James Stewart caught him and passed for the lead. On the final lap, Dungey made a last ditch attempt at the win, battling with Stewart but making a mistake late in the lap exiting a corner and ending up second at the finish.
